Built by Beekeepers
api-log.net was born out of frustration with paper logs and disconnected spreadsheets. We built the tool we always wished existed.
Our Story
It started with a single hive in the backyard and a notebook that kept getting rained on. Every seasoned beekeeper knows the feeling โ you're in the yard, smoker in hand, trying to remember when you last treated for varroa or when that queen was introduced.
After years of juggling paper logs, spreadsheets, and phone reminders, the team behind api-log.net decided enough was enough. We built a platform that works the way beekeepers actually work โ offline-capable, fast to use, and organized in a way that makes sense from the hive stand.
Today, api-log.net is used by thousands of beekeepers across the US and beyond โ from hobbyists with a few backyard hives to commercial producers managing hundreds of colonies across multiple apiaries.
What We Believe
Bees Come First
Every feature we build is designed to help beekeepers maintain healthier colonies. Happy bees, happy planet.
Simplicity Wins
A tool you don't use helps nobody. We obsess over making every interaction as fast and intuitive as possible.
Community-Driven
Our roadmap is shaped entirely by beekeeper feedback. Join the conversation and shape what we build next.
Always Learning
Beekeeping science evolves constantly. We stay current so our tools help you apply best practices automatically.
Our Mission
To empower every beekeeper โ from first-year hobbyists to seasoned commercial producers โ with the tools to make data-driven decisions that lead to stronger colonies, better harvests, and a healthier bee population worldwide.
โIf bees are the canary in the coal mine for our ecosystem, then beekeepers are its guardians. We exist to support them.โ
